do I need a sound card for KX3 to use the WRL Integration and CAT?

@N0APX I’m not extremely familiar with the Elecraft radios and i’m getting conflicting information online but my understanding is that they do not have built in sound cards so you might need something like a digi rig.

@N0APX Andy you have a KX3 (or maybe its a KX2), thoughts on this?

Thank you. BTW I was surprised at ease WRL connection to IC7300 worked well with WSJtx and connection to logs.

I have the KH1, but my understanding is that the KX3 and KX2 shouldn’t need a sound card. I’ll see if I can verify that for you.

KX3 does not have a sound card.

The KX2 does not have a built in sound card. I use a DigiRig device and it works flawlessly with the KX2. Here is a link:
