Very New to WRL

How do I log POTA, hit enter while doing hunt and pounce, and the frequency goes back to the beginning? I just want the frequency to match what I’m logging.

Sorry, very new to this app.

@W2JSP You can use the spotting tab inside your logbook (along with rig control) and double click a spot and it will load all the call sign data into the logging fields.

Here is the start of the documentation (still a work in progress): Documentation - World Radio League

Or if you’re not using the spotting page and rig control, you can just manually type in the call sign, the signal reports, the frequency, verify that the Park number auto-filled (and if not then add the park number) and then hit Log Contact or just hit Enter.

The call sign and the park information will clear out but the frequency last used will remain in the box and you’ll need to override it for the next entry. Some of us have requested that the frequency line clear out as well but that hasn’t happened yet.

Sure, got that part down but how about when you log someone say on 14.437 and then when you go back to spots it takes you back to 14.202. Very annoying but I’m sure it’s UE.

Sorry Patrick, I can’t help with that as I don’t use the spotting page to hunt POTA; I just use the SPOTS page from POTA itself and manually tune my radio (I’m old school).

Here is a short video of how I use WRL Desktop to hunt POTA SSB/USB parks
