Logging Setting to clear frequency after each contact

Hi, could we please, please, please add a way to have the “Log Contact” button clear the frequency to get it ready for the next QSO? I can’t tell you how many times I log the same frequency when I forget to populate it, and it has the old one. It forces me to log crappy data w/ bogus freqs.

I think the Park oval clears on “Log Contact” being pressed, frequency should too. If the user is obviously activating (park populated, etc), maybe it should default to how it is now (freq doesn’t clear). But otherwise, it should definitely clear.

Also, when you put in a callsign and the system automatically finds and populates the park, could you color that park oval green so I don’t have to look down at it and see if it got populated, the green will be detectable from peripheral vision, making it faster.

This was a point of contention previously which is why it is like it is now. We do plan on adding some logbook settings to allow users to choose the freq to be cleared upon logging a contact (and clicking the clear button) though.

The search function is just the magnifying glass at the top right of the page :wink:

I’m with you, Doug. This is my only consistent gripe, but now my muscle memory knows to edit the freq field on every POTA park hunted. But it sure would be great to enter the Call, let WRL fill the Park and the Freq and just hit enter. I look forward to the day that we can make that a permanent selection for the hunters.

Thanks for the reminders here guys - we will add this as a Logging Setting :folded_hands: The next month is VERY busy with WRTC coming up, but we will get this done as soon as we can.
