ARRL VHF CONTEST CABRILLO ISSUES

So, I am trying to upload my log from the ARRL VHF contest and it keeps getting rejected because it doesn’t show my grid square in the cabrillo log. I have my grid entered in the header and clicked my grid in the exchange but it does not show up in the cabrillo format which leaves me only 8 fields and offsets their call sign and grid square. Help! What am I doing wrong or missing? This seems to happen every contest that I need cabrillo format. ADIF has not been an issue for me.

Thanks,

KC!WVQ

@KC1WVQ Hey Darin,

This normally happens when you haven’t added your exchange to the ‘my exchange’ field underneath the main logging fields inside your contest logbook. However looking in your account i’m showing you have your exchange added.

I just exported your logbook as a Cabrillo and its got your gridsquare added as well.

What is most likely the actual issue is that, for whatever reason, for this specific contest the ARRL only wants 146 for the frequency instead of the actual frequency you made the contact on like every other ARRL contest (and contest in general). For example they want the frequency to be listed as 146 instead of 146520 or 50 instead of 50125, etc

This is something we were not aware of and will be making changes for VHF/UHF contest going forward to handle this. I’ve went ahead and updated your log and attached it via the link below. Just download the updated copy of your log, open it in a regular text editor (notepad on windows, textedit on mac, etc) and make sure your Cabrillo Header information is correct the submit this version.

Sorry for the trouble here.

Thanks & 73
