When a QSO is logged in WRL with incorrect info and auto-exports to QRZ Logbook, local edits afterward don’t propagate to QRZ—the online record stays wrong. QRZ’s API mainly supports INSERT (with a REPLACE option only for duplicates on upload), so most software can’t reliably update existing QSOs without manual intervention like recreating QSO with correct info and deleting old one. A short configurable delay (e.g., 30–60 seconds) before auto-export, or manual “Export Now” toggle (with global auto-export disable), would catch typos early and reduce cleanup hassle, especially during contests or quick pileups.
@W4DPK We will take into consideration a short delay before being auto exported. Alternatively you can disable auto export and then use the QSO manager to select the QSO’s and click the ‘Export To QRZ.COM’ button to manually export those QSO’s.

Ah, I didnt realize that. Using QSO manager solves the problem nicely. Thanks.
I too would be a fan of delaying the auto-export for say… 3-5 minutes. Sometimes I go right from one contact to the next and don’t notice the error right away.
I would prefer not to use the QSO Manager manual method because I do prefer the automated integration and look forward to the day that we can add LoTW and eQSL to that process (with a delay of course). ![]()
I don’t need a response; I’m just offering my thoughts. Thanks
