Carillo issue with ARRL Nov Sweepstakes

This was my first participation in a major contest so this could totally be my issue and not WRL’s but I need help to prevent it from happening again.

I exported my log from the ARRL Sweepstakes template but when I tried to submit it I would get this error message from ARRL:

Number of fields in each QSO line fewer than minimum expected(15)

There were 12 fields completed and I could see that some of the entries were in the wrong column locations. (log is at the bottom)

I learned how to edit a Cabrillo file in a text editor and wrote down all the column names that ARRL was expecting, and then I edited each line individually to put the info into the proper expected column (I hope) and then I added the info that it was lacking initially.

Assuming this was an issue on my end, what do I need to do in the future for a contest to make sure when I initially export a Cabrillo from WRL that all the data is in all the proper colums? I’m glad I stopped at ten entries and didn’t go crazy logging contacts.

Here’s the log as generated by WRL:

@W7YBY I just looked at your logbook and you dont have your exchange information added. Go into your logbook and click the button next to ‘My Exchange’ and then add your correct exchange information. After that is done then just re-export your cabrillo log.

For each contest you’ll need to add the ‘My Exchange’ information before exporting your log.

@KN6TPT I just went into your account and downloaded your cabrillo without any issues. I’ve attached a link here: https://drive.google.com/file/d/1MFKD_ZF4hzJx45KLbJ9BEMWhwx6L5oKx/view?usp=sharing

once you download it, just open it in a text editor and make sure the header info is filled in as needed.

I feel stupid. I have the same issue and can’t find or am looking wrong for “My Exchange” and the button. I’m in my logbook and can’t figure this out. My first ever contesta also,
Thanks, Doug AG4DG

Thanks! My mind filtered that as a heading, didn’t even think of it as a field. Thank you for helping!
