CAT Control for Flex still not working

Despite attempts to connect my 8400 , CAT will not establish . I am using the latest . It says "successfully connected " but then says lost connection a few seconds later .

@HI8O or @W7IB or @W0MET or @W2AH or @AC9HO or @VA7TZ or @N0APX any tips you can provide @K3UK Andrew, to help him get his flex going with cat control?

can you confirm you running the latest firmware on the radio from Flex like 4.22 as an example?

What Smart SDR software are you using?is it from Flex-Windows SmartSDR, MacOS Smart SDR or AetherSDR

I will need this info first so I know where to tell you to pull CAT from.

Are you using WRL desktop app or integration still.

questions above will tell me if your using windows or MacOS

Let me know. I can also do a remote support session and possibly resolve it.

Mac OS Tahoe, Flex 4.2.20 . I have tried but SmartSDR for Mac and AetherSDR , both of these are on the LAN in my home . The actual radio is not connected directly to any computer , JUST the LAN via ethernet . I boot the WRL CAT application and click on connect . No matter what port I choose , 5002 or 5001 it says successfully connected but never really is . Also today I clicked on "Start WSJTX " and it said "successfully connected " but WSJTX had hardly started booting .

Change it from the slice to the flex radio 6000 which I believe is the first option before slices and see if that makes a difference.
