It would be useful if the grid locator could be automatically updated when logging a contact that has been worked previously. This applies in cases where the grid locator is incorrect or not up to date on QRZ.
I use time to find the correct grid location, but the grid-location field is using a “dummy”-location in the new QSO even if I have the correct location in a previous QSO
@LA6OEA This could work in some situations but in others it wouldn’t work. For example if my QTH grid is EM76fe (middle Tennessee), and i’m today im doing a POTA or SOTA activation in say Florida my grid square is going to be different, and if next week im doing a POTA or SOTA activation in Ohio, the grid square will change. so we couldn’t always automatically update the grid square of a callsign based on a previous contact.
