I have a contact with A32DX, who is a Slovak ham licensee, vacationing in Tonga, grid square AG28. I attempted to disclose this in the Location section of the QSO when recording it in the logbook. After recording, it spontaneously changed to say that they were in the United States, in Vermont. This is not true. I tried editing the contact. WRL reports “Contact updated successfully!” and then proceeds to still show them as being in Vermont upon checking a second time.
I think I’ve got this fixed for you now. It was showing on the map in vermont due to the lat/lon being added incorrectly. It should be correct now though, let me know if for some reason its still not correct and i’ll get it fixed up for you. Sorry about that!
It shows as Tonga for me now. Thanks for getting to that. Is the underlying issue fixed that caused it to ignore my grid square entry? I’ve had other instances of this before but usually ignorable (like, sub grid-square differences), never this egregious.
@NR3D I set your logbook to be the ‘All Fields’ so now it should be fixed as long as you update the ‘their gridsquare’ to the correct one. I’ll mention it to the team though and have them take a double look at it.
