Can anyone point me to how to get cat control working on my new Icom 7300MK2? The old 7300’s SiLab drivers aren’t working. This is such a PITA and a total deal breaker for this radio. I’ve lost hours of my life on this. Do I actually need the SiLab drivers for the MK2?
For Icom 7300MK2 users: the CI-V address changes from 94h in the original 7300 to B6h in the MK2. If you have trouble with cat control and you duplicated all your old 7300 settings in the MK2 (changed the default CI-V address), make sure you change that address back to default and that you’re selecting the MK2 profile in your apps because that old 94h address won’t work and the new profiles expect the new address. I had changed the CI-V address to match my old settings and that’s why CAT control wasn’t working.

I’m still on the original IC-7300. I haven’t upgraded yet… we’ll see.
