Importing logs

I downloaded my logs from QRZ. I have over 450 or 460 QSOs. But when I uploaded them into WRL, I have 86. Does it take a long time to process the uploaded logs? Or is there an issue I need to work out?

@N4DIV Hey Daniel,

Sorry your having some trouble. So i’ve looked at your account and i’m seeing three times you’ve tried to import. The first time there were only 23 Total QSO’s in the log and 23 imported.

The second import there were 60 Total QSO’s and 60 imported.

On the third import there were 60 Total QSO’s again but they were duplicates so they were not imported.

It seems like your full QRZ logbook didn’t get downloaded into the ADIF your importing for some reason.

I hope this helps

The first time I have chosen select all and thought it was my entire log. The second and third time I did both pages individually. One of those could have been duplicates. The second should not. Interesting.

No worries at all. What I typically do is goto my QRZ logbook then click the little folder icon in the top right and then click the ‘Export All to ADI File’, that should export your entire QRZ logbook. Once its downloaded you can import into WRL and it will just overlook the existing duplicates that have already been imported. Let me know if you have any issues, we’ll get you sorted out. :wink:

So, you have to have a paid subscription with QRZ in order to export your logbook. So if I want to switch logs I have to pay them $35 just to not use them anymore….

@N4DIV Hey Good Morning Daniel,

Interesting, so your saying the full log export is a paid feature? I have their XML subscription for call sign lookups so I guess I never realized that the export functionality was part of that subscription. That stinks. Is there a way you could export as many records at a time and then just combine them? I’m sure that would be time consuming if there were thousands of QSOs though.
