I want to participate a smaller scale YL contest but when creating a new logbook, I cannot find a WRL template where I can add the required QSO info of ARRL section for the other call sign and which number in my log they are. This contest requires that I include these details along with the radio’s power output and I want to use a WRL logbook to do it. Am I missing something on how to create a log like this? I know WRL has templates which create contest specific logbooks for the major contests with all the needed info. However, this contest is not on there, probably since it is run by the YLRL and is run on a smaller scale. I know you can’t put every contest on the contest page but it would be great to have a general contest template when creating a new logbook where you could select which attributes you need depending on the contest - like having fields for the ARRL section instead of just the state, Class for the contest, the QSO’s log number (1, 2, 3 etc),. I see there is a way in most new logbooks to enter the power output of the radio. Is this possible?
If this is already a feature and I’m missing it, will someone please point me in the right direction of how to access this kind of template.
@KJ5KYP You’ll need to use the contest page to enroll in the contest for the contest fields to show up. What contest is this? Can you send a link to the contest rules page? If its not already added i’ll add it for you.
Thanks, Brad. It is the YL-OM contest sponsored by YLRL. I’ll paste the link to the page below which includes all the details. It is the first contest listed on the page and it starts 0:00UTC on 2/13/26 (today). Sorry for the late notice. Contests - Young Ladies Radio League
Yes, it is different. The one already posted is related to POTAs. The one I would like is a YLRL contest where YL’s call OM’s and OM’s call YL’s and no POTA is involved.
