LOTW conformation

Hello,

I noticed that the LOTW import does not bring in all confirmations of completed contacts. If you have submitted a QSO for DXCC approval via the “online DXCC application,” those confirmations are not recorded in the WRL log. This is probably because the QSO does not include a QSL field.

In my case, I’m missing one country from the confirmed contacts. If in the future the “Analytics” section also includes “DXCC Challenge” data, there will be many of these unconfirmed ones.

@OH1NPW Hey Jyrki,

Thanks for the heads up on this. I’ll reach out to the team and have them take a look. Have you tried re-running the confirmation check by either going to the main logbooks page and then hovering over the ‘action’ menu and clicking the ‘Re-Check LOTW Confirmations’ button or by going to the QSO Manager and selecting all QSO’s then clicking the ‘Re-Check Confirmation’ button ?

Hi Brad,

I first do it that I import my hole QSO history from my previous logbook (adit format and more than 18000 QSO). Then import from LOTW my info. Then I read from here chat that is better import only from LOTW and then I delete all QSO’s from logbook and do it again import only from LOTW. Both case do same to my logbook that one country (R1FJL) doesn’t get conformation from LOTW import.

That QSO I only have QSL card and get conformation from ARRL via Online DXCC application. This QSO shown confirmed in LOTW but in QSO details there are no QSL field included date and time. Same is many my QSL cards which I send via this route (QSO partner isn’t in LOTW program) to get conformation.

Other thing is when I do it “Re-Check Conformation” that takes several hours to complite and only have little bit more that 18000 QSO and my internet connection is good 600-900 Mbps.

@OH1NPW Hi Jyrki,

I think I’m understanding. So if you log into LOTW directly (like log into their website), do you see a confirmation for R1FJL on their website?

Hi Brad

Yes I see. Same as other QSL conformation on the same way conformed (These others are only counting to Challenge points).

Thanks for quick response.

I think that there are other problem also with LOTW and how they handle data. I see on WRL Analytics DX Dashboard that my worked Countries number is 332 and my right number is abt 316. When I check coming data from LOTW on WRL I realize that almost every not confirmed Country has little bit different Country name and that double these Countries in WRL.
