While I lkeep digging into WRL features (finally dedicating some time to it), I already imported my logbook from the usual loggers (and now happily importing from Wsjtx), and I already linked to Qrz (for lookup and importing) and to LOTW.
But I wonder how do I verify that when I import from lotw the Qso´s are marked as confirmed (if it does) ? and
in the same context, the Analytics stats are for Qso´s confirmed in WRL or overall (including lotws)?, because I know for sure that I have way more DXCC and States confirmed that it shows in my Analytics.
By the way, I shared some pictures of my remote station on the Community and also updated my profile a bit.
@HI8O So if the contacts are confirmed already on QRZ or LOTW it will import the QSOs and the confirmations. However if you make a contact in WRL and then export that QSO to QRZ, we dont know when the other callsign will upload their contacts to QRZ and QRZ makes the confirmation, it could be a day or a week, month or whatever when the other callsign uploads their logs and QRZ does the confirmation. We have a task in our system to see if there is a way in the QRZ API to only check for confirmations. If there is we will add a button with some functionality that will just check for confirmations and import them. I hope this makes sense.
We are finalizing our testing on our new database upgrade that will fix the issues with the analytics and allow us to do ALOT more with analytics.
Any update on this analytics upgrade? I am a new op and have 255 QSOs in the last couple of weeks. I now have WRL, QRZ, and LOTW all up and running (and linked). I love how LOTW backfills and updated QRZ and how I can do all of my spotting/hunting/logging in WRL and everything gets updated. However… the only “break” in the chain seems to be the flow of analytics back into WRL. I am anxiously awaiting WRL to continue it’s growth/development as I truly believe WRL is “homebase” for all things… but for right now - all the fun in awards is in QRZ (2 states left and 3 continents left). I would love to stop going to QRZ and settle everything in WRL… can we see the same (or maybe even a better) awards dashboard with a two-way flow to confirmations. According to WRL analytics, I haven’t put in any work the last two weeks. lol Thanks all… you’re onto something magnificent here! AD8QB, 73s.
