Hello WRL team. I actively participated in the WPX CQ contest and I really enjoyed using the application. I come from N1MM and I feel that WRL is much more user-friendly. I just have a few recommendations that would make the application much more robust for contests:

  • My exchange should be locked to prevent accidental changes. If it’s a fixed exchange, it doesn’t need to be changed and should be locked for security. If it’s a serial exchange, it should be locked to prevent accidental changes and breaking the series.

  • The final score depends on various parameters. In the case of WPX, each QSO awarded a certain score considering high and low bands, unused prefixes, etc. Is it possible to add the parameters for each contest so that the application automatically calculates the score? N1MM updates it for each QSO. This way, you can add the claimed score to the Cabrillo scoreboard.

These were the most relevant points for me in this contest. Everything else works perfectly, especially the leaderboard, as it keeps you in competitive mode.

@CA1OGG We are actively building out the contesting side of WRL tohandle scoring, multipliers, etc etc as well as be able to set contests recurring, etc etc. We have ALOT of new changes coming to the contest side very soon.
