On the contesting page, “My Exhange” would be better placed right next to the blue exchange window. Also, you can add a feature to My Exchange window, where you can choose a constant reply or serial sequential number. In this new place you could see it and access it easier and quicker. Plus adding the feature to choose between a constant number of letters and serial sequential numbers you could use it for any contest and not be contest specific. Thanks WP4JD Juan Dania.
@WP4JD For contests with a standard sequential serial number we have a field that auto increments the serial number but in the 10 meter contest the serial number was dependent on where the user was operating from and we currently don’t have a way to display that based on country/location. We are building out the contest side of WRL and this will be there in the future.
I hope this makes sense.

Hi Brad! I understand what you mean but I think it would make more sense to make the WRL Contest page not dependent on the individual contests. It should be a page you could use with any contest.
Below is a picture of where I would place the “My Exchange” window, and making that window with the ability to choose between serial continuous or constant entry.
Thanks for your reply, I really appreciate that you read and listen to the suggestions of the users. Keep up the good work.
@WP4JD When you say “it should be a page you could use with any contest” what do you mean?
You can’t really do that because each individual contest has different contest exchange requirements, some are similar and simple and others are completely different and complex.
With that said, as a subscriber of WRL you have the ability to create your own logbook templates via the custom logbook template creator ( World Radio League ). However with that said, with how we have things setup for contests you have to enroll in the contest for the contest exchange fields to show. We also have to take into account exporting these logbooks as Cabrillo logs.
Over the next few months we will be building out the contest side of WRL and making it more feature rich as well as making sure that the scoring is being calculated correctly as well as multipliers.

Hi Brad! Today I exported my 10m log entries to Cabrillo. Even though I changed the number on each contact when making the entry, the log reported all of them as 060 as my exchange
@WP4JD I think there is a communication error here.
So for most contests there is just a serial number, or just a standard exchange (ie class), etc. For this particular contest some users needed to give their state abbreviation, other users gave DX, some had to give a serial number, etc.
Since there was no way for us (currently, this will change in a few months) provide users the correct exchange field type based on their location we had to just provide a generic exchange field.
For all other contests this isn’t the case and whatever you enter in the ‘my exchange’ field will export correctly in the Cabrillo. Since this particular contest the ‘my exchange is one of 3 different options, and in your case is a serial number. the Cabrillo export was wrong.
I’ve manually updated it for you by just changing each of 060 entries to 001, 002, 003, etc throughout your 60 contacts.
I hope this helps
Thanks, I did that on the Cabrillo form. I wrote in every single number before I uploaded the Carillo form to the Contest webpage.
Thanks for your assistance
HI BRAD! ARE YOU PLANNING ON ADDING THE 9A DX CONTEST THIS WEEKEND?
BELOW ARE THE CONTEST RULES
Thank you guys both for the good discussion, there are some good ideas here to think about!
