I logged two contacts from the same callsign 17 minutes apart. It did not note it as a Dupe in the logbook. For what space of time should it still mark it as a Dupe?

17 minutes is not a dupe, a dupe is having the same (UTC time, Mode, Band, etc.).
In a contest if it is considered a dupe
