Questions about spotting on the Pota app and wrl, from wrl:
On the homepage under the spot tab, I am not sure what the add spot function does. Does it add you into wrl, or onto the Pota app? Or both? Or does it just respot someone you’re adding?
In the log book, the Auto spot, the spot me, and the spot them options I’m curious about. I assume the spot them is strictly spotting them in wrl. How do I spot myself on the Pota app from wrl? What is the difference between Auto spot and spot me? Any help would be greatly appreciated.
@N0LAF On the Spotting page (not the tab inside your logbook), the ‘Add Spot’ button is adding a spot to WRL.
Inside your logbook in the spotting tab, does the same thing, its spots you to WRL. The buttons underneath the logging fields do various things. The ‘POTA Autospot’ will spot yourself to POTA (which will also show up in the spotting tab because we pull from the pota spots), ‘Spot Them’ will spot the callsign you enter into the fields to WRL.
In the spotting tab inside your logbook you can filter what spots your looking at by using the filters.
