Hello, I am operating in the British Virgin Islands and need to operate as VP2V/W5GI. I am having trouble figuring out 1)how to set up logbooks under that call OR export to POTA and QRZ using that Call. I got some handled correctly but now it looks like I am having some issues with it. What is the best way to set this up going forward while I am here?
@W5GI Good Morning,
You simply either create a new logbook (suggested) or edit an existing one and just click the callsign in the quick settings bar above the logging fields (see screenshot below) and update the callsign.

Thanks so much. I did that. Now I am having an issue uploading to POTA site saying āOnly a single STATION_CALLSIGN value is supported per log fileā. Any ideas where I may be having an issue? Thanks for any thoughts
@W5GI I went into your account and pulled the ADIF. It looks like there are 12 contacts that still have the āSTATION_CALLSIGNā & āOPERATORā set to W5GI.
Iāve went ahead and updated these QSOās for you but for future reference you can use the QSO Manager and filter by logbook then do a bulk edit on the QSOās that need updating.
You can now re-export the log and upload to POTA

Thank you SO much. Really appreciated. Going to create a new logbook today for my activation. Aside from the name at the top like you showed just enter my operator as the VP2V/W5GI and save before I export?
@W5GI Yup that should be all you need to do. I would make sure youāve set everything up (callsign, station callsign, location, etc) before making any contacts so that way all the contacts that get logged have that information added.
Thanks again. For what it is worth⦠Iāve been a ham for 2 years and this is the ONLY logger I have found that I love. I have about 20 different radios I have been able to use rig control with and finally figured out the issue I was having with WSJT-X autologging (I had been using gridtracker and trying to use the same port). I am at my second QTH on Anegada in the British Virgin Islands where POTA designated a park for me to activate about 18 months ago and have decided this trip to get a kilo before anyone else activates. I was super bummed this AM when I saw the issues I was having (I also messed up the auto populating to the wrong logbook on QRZ which I have now fixed). Not only do you all have an amazing product but your support is the best I have experienced in the ham world. Thanks again and 73
@W5GI Thatās absolutely fantastic to hear! We greatly appreciate the support, more than you know! If you run into any other issues please feel free to reach out here or submit a bug report. Weāre happy to help!

OK⦠so another question⦠with my 2 calls⦠is there any way to set the auto logging to QRZ so that it will send to the right log book on QRZ depending on which call I am using or am I better off turning off the linking and just exporting the file and importing to the correct QRZ logbook based on which call I am using on their site? Thanks again for all your help
@W5GI Not currently, its only setup with the ability to send the logged qsoās from your WRL account to the QRZ API (using the API key) of the QRZ account youāve enabled). We donāt currently have the ability to add multiple API keys / multiple QRZ accounts.
I think in this situation the best solution is to just disable the auto QRZ export and export an ADIF and import into the correct QRZ account.
I hope this makes sense.

Totally makes sense but figured Iād ask. I think itās a little unique where you are web based. If it were a program on the laptop and I leave the laptop here at my second QTH I could set it for one and my home laptop for the other but with it being web based and only room for one think your suggestion makes total sense. I had fixed everything on QRZ this am (not super helpful when I reached out) and then noticed new contacts in the wrong log book and had a
moment.
Thanks again.
@W5GI haha totally get it, I have those moments at least once a day lol lol. We do have a desktop app coming very soon too though. One thing you could technically do but I might just make more sense to keeping it how you have it now, BUT you could just create a second account specifically for that callsign. Just a thought.
Also, random off topic: I saw you on the spotting page earlier and tried to pick you up but just wasnāt happening with the conditions today and my wet noodle of an antenna ![]()
I tried though

Iām here for another week and a half (then non POTA as my Flex Aurora is en route and will be getting used remotely). Iām actually going to head back to the park in a little bit and will keep an eye out for your call. You can also email me any time and I will try to set up a scheduled QSO with you. Bands were being a pain today. Hoping greyline helps out.
@W5GI yeah theyāve been pretty rough for me for the past few days.
Sorry⦠another question for you. Do you know of any way to use WSJT-X with both WRL as my logger and Grid Tracker? Intially both WRL and Grid tracker both use the same port from WSJT-x but didnāt know if you might know a work around. Thanks for any info.

@W5GI no worries. Yes thats how I use it. Follow this guide closely WSJT-X Integration Setup - World Radio League

I found after I emailed but ran into an issue. Iām using a flex. Data not getting into gridtracker. Iāll play around with it
@W5GI Search on here (the community page) for flex there are several other users that have gotten it working with slices. iām not familiar and have never used a flex so unfortunately i wont be much help there. ;(
