@SM6YEC I’m not familiar with the flex or maestro however there are several users that have this working as expected (maybe not with the maestro though). Here are some links to scroll through:
Is there a way to hook up a Flex Radio via SliceMaster? What SliceMaster does is create a port on #7810 that sends the current TX Slice as the radio frequency rather than a specific Slice frequency all the time. This is HUGE for all Flex Radio with 6600s and 8600s. I tried the Flex Rdio 6xxx radio option with Port #7810. It says it’s connected, but I’m not seeing the frequency populate within the logbook anywhere to know it’s actually connected. Guessing I’m just doing something wrong.
I am brand new to WRL and trying to get my Flex 8600 to work with WRL CAT ver 1.0.7
Using Mac iBook with Marcus SmartSDR - port set to 5010 in SmartSDR and WRL
Shows connected but no frequency displayed
Flex 8600 remote but on my local network
FlexRadio SmartSDR … Slice A selected
Hello, I have downloaded the new update 1.06 for CAT control and I still cannot connect when using my Maestro. I try using port 5001 which is the port I use when I am using my Mac, but it does not connect to the Maestro. I also used a different port for external to internal setup and that still does not work. I am at a loss at the moment.
Thanks

Good day,
I am a avid flex user and so far I can’t get the cat control to connect to my flex. I figured I would take it 1 step at a time and start with my windows machine that is located directly at the site since my set up is 100% remote.
So far i can’t get it to connect with my smart Cat no matter what settings or selections i pick.
I have tried all the flex settings in the selection, kenwood settings, hamlib etc. thoughts?
With all that said, we dont currently support network connected devices via the cat control app but that is something we have on the roadmap.
Thanks & 73
