First time user for winter field day. There are a few improvements I would like to see to continue future use but first I would like to know if there is a way to create a cabrillo file ?
This is in progress, we don’t have it yet!
For Winter Field Day though, you just need to export the ADIF to upload to the Winter Field Day website.
You can do this on the logbooks page
In regards to the Cabrillo File. I took a small part in the ARRL DX this past weekend. Since this is not supported, I had to ADIF to CABRILLO conversion, edit in a text box, then add it as if it were a manual submission to ARRL. This is the first time I ever needed this format. It wasn’t horrific, but it would have been easier.
This should be a pretty easy fix. Adding an “Export Cabrillo” button alongside the “Export ADIF” that just pulls the data from the database and formats it in Cabrillo vs the ADIF standard. I think this is something that will standard as the contesting functionality evolves.
@N0WRL Thoughts?
Agreed with this @K4AZE. We just have to add a screen that lets you edit the header of the file before final export to make sure all the fields are correct! We’ve got this designed, just pending development now.
Perfect! Thanks for the quick response!
Hi,
Any kind of a contest is a sport. Any HAM is a sportsman and there need only load data of radio connection after which need to be use the button for automatically adapted to Cabrillo format and send it to the contest organization. This feature will be the best!

@KD9WIF we are actually working on a Cabrillo export functionality specifically for the contest side of the app. It is in development now and should be released very soon after some testing! I personally am looking forward to this very much!
Thanks & 73

This will be the best feature for any kind of contest, especially there will be great to use the button “SEND” for automatically format a log data of a contest to the Cabrillo file and sending it to a contest organization.
Thank you!

@KD9WIF That last part might be a little difficult as there are various that are required to send the logs to each specific contest but i wont say its impossible We’ll see what we can do.
