So I have just discovered this site, and Looking to do the CQ WW WPX this weekend. Question is why cant we export logs in Cabrillo format, I only see ADIF? Will there be a Cabrillo option for export?
@KJ6GHN Hi Lisa, this is a feature that we have been working on and have almost wrapped up for deployment but I don’t think it will be ready for release by this coming weekend. There are a few sites and tools that can take the ADIF file you export from WRL and convert it to a Cabrillo format though. We are also going to be changing the UI layout for the contest templates going forward so everything is seamless like it was for WFD. I’ll check with the team and see if there is anyway we can expedite the Cabrillo export by this weekend though.
Thanks & 73

Brad,
Thanks for the update, I do see you put in a Cabrillo button I will try it. Love the software I am using it for WPX SSB this weekend and going smooth.
Suggestion, when logging a contact you provide bubbles for Power and comments, is there a way to have a check box like in WSJTX to keep / retain those setting for all contacts, just a thought so I don’t have to keep typing the info.
Can’t wait for the rig control, I tried it on my other computer and it totally corrupted the LIBHAMLib files. Had to remove all the folders and reinstall.
Your my new go to.
Thanks
Lisa

@KJ6GHN When your in your logbook, there is a Gear icon in the top right, click that and you can set most of what your mentioning. Home location (Saved Locations), Default Radio, Antenna, Power, Callsign & Type, as well as the contest settings; Power, Num of Transmitters, Band, Assisted/Non-Assisted, and Operator. This will save it globally for that logbook. Hope this helps!
As for the Cabrillo export, we tried to hurry and get the functionality out for this specific contest so the header information will be tied to this contest but when you go to click ‘Export Cabrillo’ after the contest a popup window will show allowing you to enter all the required information. We are working on building out a full fledged header editor that the user can customize whatever header fields the user needs for each individual contest. That’s in the works but wasn’t going to be ready in time for this weekend.

@KJ6GHN FANTASTIC!!! So glad to hear!
Yes we are working on a few things actually. We are working on an extensive points system to keep track of points and scoring accurately as well as a full Cabrillo export editor that will allow the user to customize the header fields as need. These are just a couple of the functionalities we are working on the contest side of things Thank you so much for your feedback!!!
