Hello.
I’m trying to export a log file to a Cabrillo file. The cabrillo export generates what appears to be a proper header, but no QSO information. The log looks like this-
(at the end)

There are the correct number of QSO lines in the file, but they are all blank. Just shows
QSO: (no more information)
I’m obviously missing something.

Sorry your having some trouble!!! Which logbook or contest are you trying to export the Cabrillo for? I’ll make sure you’re able to export correctly.

I just looked at your account and you have 3 logbooks. Two pota and one regular logbook. It doesn’t look like either of those 3 are a contest logbook though so exporting to a Cabrillo wouldn’t work right as there is no exchange fields to pull from.
When participating in a contest you’ll need to goto the contest page (World Radio League) and then select the contest you want to enroll in and either click the ‘Join for free’ button on the main contest list page (link above) or go into a specific contest and click the ‘enroll now’ or ‘join for free’ buttons. This will create a contest logbook with the correct exchange fields. Then once your done you can export to a Cabrillo file.

Sorry for the delayed response.
This issue is not with my personal account, it’s with our Club’s account (which I’m logged into now) - W6LIE.
This is for Field Day (… yes - I know, tomorrow) - hahaha.
I did join / create a Field Day log.
One question, when it asks for “Operators” - I’m entering “MULTI-OP”. Am I supposed to enter all of the operators that we had?

Ohhh ok, yeah that detail for sure matters haha.
Ok so what you’ll need to do is go into the logbook and then click ‘Your Exchange’ underneath the Band and Mode fields and enter your club info there for your exchange and click save. Then you’ll need to goto the logbook settings (gear icon in the top right), then make sure all the data if filled out there, especially the ‘Contest Settings’ at the bottom. Then click the ‘Export Cabrillo’ button and when the Cabrillo header editor pops up fill all that out and where it says ‘Operators’ enter each callsign separated by a comma. IE: N0WRL, K4AZE, N0APX.
Then scroll down to the bottom and click the ‘Export Cabrillo’ button. It does look like there is a missing header option though for ‘CATEGORY-OPERATOR’ that youll need to manually enter after you’ve exported the Cabrillo.
You can just double click the log file that gets exported and open it in notepad or any text editor and add a line above the ‘CATEGORY-BAND: ALL’ line and add in ‘CATEGORY-OPERATOR: MULTI-OP’ then save the log.
Example:

OPERATORS: N4BFR, KN6FVK
LOCATION: EB
CLASS: A
SECTION SJV
CATEGORY-OPERATOR: MULTI-OP
CATEGORY-BAND: ALL
…
That will get you want you need. I hope this makes sense, Let me know if you have any issues, happy to help.

Yessir no problem! Glad it worked out! When i checked your personal account it didn’t look like you had the field day contest log (i.e. the contest exchange fields weren’t there) so that one might be a little more difficult/complicated but just ping me and I’m happy to help figure it out!

Try to do it on the next day after it, because, probably, a contest time was not finished by WRL.
I had the same problem just 10 minute after the contest ended. I decided to repeat Cabrilo Export on the next day and it was successful.
So, pl;ease try to export on the next day…
