How To Add Contest Exchanges To Your Logbook (Enroll In Contest)

TSIA - I’ve been noting people’s county or dx regions in the notes field. Is there anywhere more specific that should be used? For example, the Ohio QSO Party is coming up next month. Exchange is RST + Ohio county or state (or ‘dx’). Would you include that info in the RST field, or just put it in notes?

@W8CBG You would goto the ‘Contest’ Page (World Radio League)
and then enroll in the contest you want to participate in and when you click the enroll button it automatically creates the contest logbook for you, in the contest logbook there are the correct contest exchange fields where you enter the contest exchange. Additionally you’ll need to enter your correct exchange information in the ‘Your Exchange’ field underneath the logging fields and then goto the logbook settings (via the gear icon) and enter all your correct information in the logbook settings (saved location, default radio, antenna, power, callsign and callsign type, – under contest settings; power, # of transmitters, band, etc etc etc) then click the save button at the bottom.

Once the contest is completed you’ll export the Cabrillo log (not an adif) via either your logbook settings under ’ Export Cabrillo’ or via the ‘logbooks’ page under the ‘action’ column, click the three dots then click ‘export cabrillo’

I hope this helps!
