Is it possible to import the QSO confirmations I have on QRZ.COM because despite linking my account, the confirmations do not appear. Only QSOs are confirmed if the person is registered with the World Radio League. Is it the same with eQSL.CC?
@F4AGV If the QSO’s are not in one of your logbooks in your WRL account when do you do an import from QRZ then yes it will bring in the confirmations. We will be adding functionality that will allow users to check for new confirmations from QRZ. Currently the issue is say you make a contact in WRL and that gets exported to QRZ. We have no way to know when the other user will upload their logs to QRZ. It could be a day, a week, month, etc and then QRZ confirms the contact. We will be releasing this in the coming weeks.
I’m sorry, but I didn’t quite understand your explanation. I’ll explain what I did so you can understand my problem! When I created my account on WRL, I linked my QRZ account to WRL and transferred my contacts from QRZ. I retrieved all the contacts made on WRL, but none of the contacts that were confirmed on QRZ appear on WRL. Only contacts made with operators registered on WRL appear. Is this normal, or was there a problem during the transfer and I lost all my confirmations?
@F4AGV No your confirmations are not lost. How did you transfer your contacts from QRZ to WRL? Did you use an ADIF or did you use the QRZ import integration?
Hello,
I used ADIF files to fill in my logbook on WRL and I confirm that all QSOs marked with an asterisk are not confirmed on WRL. Following your message, I deleted my logbook from WRL and tried to download it by integrating QRZ into WRL, but unfortunately it doesn’t work because I think it only adds the latest QSOs based on the date. Can you explain how to copy my logbook from QRZ to WRL while keeping the QSO confirmations?
Thank you and sorry for taking up your time to get an answer, but I am very interested in WRL and I don’t want to lose my confirmations!
@F4AGV No worries at all. Yes, just remove any QSO’s that you have in your WRL logbooks that are also in QRZ. Then use the QRZ import integration to import your QSO’s from QRZ into a WRL logbook. Since we dont import duplicates, make sure any QSOs you already have in a WRL logbook are deleted first.
Thank you!
It works, I got all my contacts and all the confirmations back :-)!
Do you think you might one day partner with POTA and eQSL.cc, etc., to automatically retrieve all QSO confirmations, as you did for QRZ, even though I understand that all operators are on WRL?
