This is not a dupe, this happens also when you work the same station on different satellites. This is from the June vhf contest same call but 2 different bands. Rob KB6JFL
@KB6JFL Hey Robert,
Sorry you’re having some trouble. I’ll have the team take a look at this.

Ah, I think I see the issue.
I think this is a small enhancement to how our duplicates work. We need to ensure if the satellite is different, we don’t count it as a duplicate. I don’t believe we’ve added that check into our duplicate rules yet: Duplicate Detection - World Radio League
Nevermind about the satellites actually. Since this contact was in a contest, and the bands are different, it shouldn’t count as a duplicate anyway, regardless of being a satellite contact:
@N0WRL Correct. I’ve added this as a ticket.
Thanks @K4AZE ![]()

@KB6JFL So after looking into this, the dupe detection is working correctly. We tripple checked logging these and they are being detected correctly; however it seems you logged the qso’s and it was marked as a duppe but then you updated the QSO and we currently don’t have the dupe detection for the UPDATE operation; Hence it didn’t remove the dupe flag. We’ve manually removed it and now the data is showing correctly.
Thanks & 73
