How would I create a duplicate Field Day log so I can have one log with 1B status and another with 1D status? If I go to the Field Day “Enroll Now” I’m already enrolled and can’t create another log. Is it required that I have MY exchange values when I upload the log or can I just submit my contacts and not worry about my exchange being included. I don’t see how to create the “My Exchange” fields in a new log.
@N3VD Hey Tess,
Currently there isn’t a way to create more than one contest logbook. I can see if there is a way that we can manually create you a second one. Are all your contacts that you’ve logged during the contest needing to be logged as 1B and 1D? If so after the contest is over you could just export it as it is now (1B) and then update the my exchange field to 1D and then re-export the cabrillo which would give you two logs, one for 1B and one for 1D.
Thanks & 73

Yes, I can just export from the original logbook. I was portable as 1B then came home to log 1D from home. I’ll just export from the original. But, for future reference, can I create the exchange fields in a log or that’s done on your end when we enroll in a contst?
I create a new logbook and tried to move the one 1D contact I made from home from my 1B logbook and it won’t move and throws this error. Not important. I’m just going to call it a day.
@N3VD Its on our end when we create the contest. You could, i guess as a possible workaround, create a custom logbook template with custom fields though via the templates page
@N3VD could be related to authentication. log out and log back in
I tried that and couldn’t see any of the exchange fields in the “Field Day” template.
Logging out and back in solved the error and moved the log entry to the new logbook. Thank you!
Still can’t get custom fields to show up when creating a custom contest template. Just FYI.
